Burberry Prorsum Fall 2013 Menswear

Let’s Think About It…Then We Can Talk

Before I let you into my mindful opinions on Burberry Prorsum Fall 2013 Men’s CollectionI am just going to let you sit back, enjoy the show, and let your ideas run wild. Crazy things are happening in the world of men’s fashion! Comment below with whatever comes to mind as you browse this collection…I’d love to hear your most truthful opinions. Let those guards down, trust your gut, and as they say in the world of Instagram#nofilter

So…Is it Cool? Is it Weird? What the Heck is it?

To be honest, I’m in love. At first, I was shocked to see such a classic brand taking MENSWEAR to that risky of a level. I mean, is that really for men? Because I personally wouldn’t mind wearing those leopard printed accessories and jackets (anyone else with me?) Will the men that we know and love wear these looks? Probably not. But maybe in some twisted way we can take our fashion powers and mix and match these Burberry looks with some rugged pieces to create a more pedestrian feel. Remember, fashion is a show. It is imagination intertwined with fabulous fabrics. So even though I could not take this collection seriously at first, I did learn to look past the runway and see what Christopher Bailey and his Burberry team are doing for men’s fashion.

It’s about damn time!

And now I open the floor to discussion, Mini lovers! Tell me what you thought of this collection…thumbs up or down?

I am with you at thinking men we know would not wear it at all at first and I acctually would not like most of them wearing it. 🙂 However, I think the proposal is to make everybody open their minds and be aware of the fact some men, that are crazy for fashion in a very high level, would wear it!
Some years ago I would never tell so many guys would be wearing skinny pants, tight shirts and pink as one of the must have colors!
But at first is shocking and weird! 😉

YES, YES, YES!!!! It’s about time to shake menswear up a little, don’t you think?. Loved the sunglasses, the prints……. Hmmm no so sure “yet” about the cheetah print shoes hehe….. but knowing me, I will!.
Now, how to convince my husband to wear it, THAT’S the tricky part hahahaha.
    Good job Burberry!

I like it… to a certain point. There are a few things I would wear but not ready to dive into the chetah look… I will leave that to others…Men’s wear has come along way but boy we are still short…HOLD ON A SECOND!!!… Mini you have to find out who put the breaks into men’s fashion… go back in time…like really back… 17 century men’s wardrobe check it out

Someone came along and established simplicity which then turned into really boring… please do something about the suit and tie… it drives me crazy that I have to have that in my closet in case I need to look like the idiot next to me at a fancy event or meeting… it drives me nuts. I’m glad some that now not waring a tie is ok, but sometimes you are forced to ear it…

Anyway, I love your post and the fact that you care for men’s wardrobe…
