Yummy and Easy Fall Treat

Awesome Dessert for Holiday Parties
Has the season gotten you in the mood to bake yet?? I know all I can think of is the delicious fall treats that fill your home with the scent of the holidays. Excited? I AM! Well, here is a little recipe I made as a Thanksgiving dessert last year, and it was very easy and very delicious…Wanna try?
Kiss Pies
This is a recipe I found on Pinterest from the awesome Picky Palate website…have fun baking these delicious goodies!
Ingredients:
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 14 Hershey Kisses of your choice (personally, Dark Chocolate Kisses give it the best taste)
- 1 egg white whisked with 1 Tbsp of water
- Powdered sugar
Let’s Get Down and Dirty:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Roll out the pie dough onto a lightly floured countertop
- Place kisses around the edge of the pie dough with enough space to make about 3 inch circles around them (see pictures!)
- Take a knife or a coffee cup and make circles around the kisses
- Wet the edge of the circle with water (helps it stick better)
- Fold up 2 sides of the circle, followed by the remaining sides so they all meet in the middle like an “X”
- Brush the little pies with the egg white wash and sprinkle them with granulated sugar
- Bake for 20-28 mins (until golden)
- After letting the pies cool, dust them with powdered sugar
Happy baking everyone!!
Love always,
Mini
